Can anyone suggest a reliable shop that has experience repairing and restoring Alvis gauges? Thank you. Bob

Richard,

I am needing a water temperature gauge, but looking to recondition all of the gauges as I restore our car, so looking for a shop that has experience in reconditioning Alvis gauges.

Patrick Henry did an excellent job restoring the instruments on my Speed 25, which has separate white-on-black dials. I've also had good but rather slow service despite their name from Speedy Cables who repaired, rather than restored, the temperature and oil pressure gauges on my 12/70, which has a cream multi gauge cluster containing some extremely brittle pre-war plastic.

Bob,

Have a look at Red Triangle's eBay sight at https://www.ebay.com.au/str/Red-Triangle-Alvis?_pgn=2
They list NOS oil pressure gauge and other TA14 parts.
