How may hides to re-trim a TD/E/F?

Postby Philip » Wed Nov 16, 2016 2:33 pm

Does anyone know how many hides are needed to completely re-trim the leather in a TD/E/F, so all the seats, door trim, rear side trim, dashboard etc.?

Seats only? Didn't Alvis use a vinyl type product called vaumol for the doors etc?

"Vaumol" is the leather supplied by Connolly. In a TD/E/F it does the seats, door cards (about 2/3rd until carpet on lower section), rear side trim, dashboard trim, handbrake gater, and carpet trim.
